My photography journey began after a few years working in the sailing industry, where I first picked up a camera to document life at sea. Years aboard yachts taught me to move with confidence, anticipate action, and navigate spaces seamlessly — skills that allow me to work unobtrusively while capturing authentic moments.
This experience has shaped an intuitive approach: observing and responding to each moment as it unfolds, letting the story reveal itself naturally.
Since then, my work has evolved across sailing, adventure, lifestyle, and expedition projects. I focus on images that are grounded in narrative, atmosphere, and emotion, tailoring each shoot to the environment, the story, and the people within it.

SV Tenacious 215ft Tall Ship
At 19, I embarked on my first Atlantic ocean crossing. A 52 day voyage from South Africa to the Caribbean. The vastness of the journey introduced me to the world of ocean travel and ignited a lasting passion for life at sea.
2019
Velsheda 129.5ft J Class
Working for 4 years on Velsheda taught me the realities of sailing, racing, and life aboard, while introducing me to the wider superyacht industry. I gained hands-on experience, discipline, and a deep respect for the craft and those who dedicate their lives to it.
2019-2022
Comanche 100ft Maxi
A career-defining leap came with Comanche: this trip was the reason I picked up a camera for the first time. Tasked with documenting the challenging 41 day voyage from the Caribbean to Australia, aboard one of the world’s most iconic racing yachts.
2022
Andoo Comanche 100ft Maxi
Following the delivery, I stayed with the team as onboard photographer, documenting a full year of training and racing. My work culminated in the 2022 Sydney to Hobart line honours and gave me invaluable experience in high performance sailing.
2022-2023
Raven 111ft Baltic
Two years aboard Raven, a revolutionary 111ft semi-foiling Baltic yacht, marked the next evolution in my journey. I’d found my calling behind the lens, now honing my craft as an onboard photographer and drone pilot.
