Velsheda is one of the most iconic yachts ever built. Designed in the 1930s for the America’s Cup, the J-Class represents the pinnacle of classic yacht design: immense power, sweeping lines, and an elegance that still turns heads nearly a century later.


Those four years working aboard her were some of my most formative. Back then, long before I picked up a professional camera, it was all about the sailing. It was where I forged the confidence of working on a yacht 'under load' and the understanding of the ocean I carry with me today. During Atlantic crossings, I started experimenting with flying drones off the stern and putting together short edits, unaware it was the start of a creative path that would later define my career.
