Photographing Pacuare River Ecolodge meant fully embracing life in the Costa Rican jungle. From navigating Class 4 rapids with a camera in hand to hiking steep, muddy rainforest hills. The work was physically demanding, but every challenge offered a new perspective.


From thrilling rapids to quiet moments in misty valleys, I aimed to capture the connection between people, nature, and adventure. It was a rare and beautiful experience to live completely off-grid, surrounded by the wildness of the jungle, where every moment felt unfiltered and alive.

Fraser came and stayed with us on the Pacuare River and really saw our home, our family, and the jungle around us. We are happy with how he shows our place to the world.
